Community
We are a community of blue-collar workers, many of us with families. We are outdoor enthusiasts who enjoy hunting, fishing and everything the Elk Valley and Southern Alberta have to offer.
We believe in giving back, especially to our hometowns.
Bearspaw Contracting “Community First” Society
A non-profit charitable trust, our “Community First” Society was formed to assist important projects for community betterment in the Elk Valley. These projects include but are not limited to health, education and community services.
The society’s core event is an annual golf tournament and fundraiser.
- In 2018, we raised $150,000 for the Elk Valley Safe Homes and Kids Count Too – Elk Valley Children Who Witness Abuse programs.
- We have raised a total of $400,000 for charitable causes.
